The Middle of the Tribulation

Mid Trib

Revelation 11-13 focuses on the middle of the Tribulation week of years. Chapter 11 begins with the Temple being measured for construction. I believe that the battle of Gog and Magog has been won and the man of sin has arisen to power as a result of that battle and he signs the 7 year covenant that begins the week of Jacob’s trouble.

We don’t know how long it takes to build the Temple but it is complete by the middle of the week for the man of sin empowered by the fallen angel who is the seed of sin to come and declare that he is god and he is to be worshiped as god.

Another thing that happens right after the signing of the covenant is the two witnesses begin prophesying for 42 months. On the center day of the 70th week these two witnesses complete their work. This is the same day Satan is cast down to the earth. This is the same day that the beast who is part of the unholy trinity comes power and kills the two witnesses and leaves their bodies in the street for all to see for 3 ½ days.

Now Satan has some of the honor he wants. It appears that Satan believes in democracy which is the majority rules. 42 months after sitting in the Temple he will lead Israel’s enemies into the Valley of Megiddo where Jesus will lead the Bride of Christ over them as He speaks a word and all die immediately. Satan is bound for a thousand years and Jesus takes the throne.

Chapters 11 and 13 focus on the middle of the Tribulation although they give events that cover the whole seven years. Chapter 11 covers Temple construction and the Two Witnesses. Chapter 13 covers the other two of the unholy trinity coming on the scene.

Chapter 12 focuses on the center day in heaven, in the air, and on the ground. In heaven the Judgment Seat of Christ is complete and the Accuser will never be allowed back into heaven so the resurrected saints rejoice.

This time is closer than ever. It really doesn’t matter if you die of old age or are raptured tomorrow each of us should live as though it is our last. We should be ready to face our Lord.

Are you ready? Are you ready for the rapture? Are you ready to give an answer to every man that asks for the hope that is in you?
